Three solutions of a three-reflection two-mirror aplanatic telescope are described which are qualitatively superior to three-reflection telescope (TRT) solutions proposed earlier by different authors. It is shown that these three TRT versions can provide planarity of the focal plane, a wide and well corrected field of view that is unvignetted and protected from stray light, and first and third reflecting surfaces made up from the same blank and with the same radius of curvature. Optical diagrams of these three solutions are presented.
