A galactic field of 0.89 square degrees containing 2420 stars near to the open clusters NGC 2360, NGC 2353 and NGC 2345 has been studied photometrically in the UBV system down to a limiting magnitude of V = 15.95. The interstellar reddening function, the density functions for different groups of stars and luminosity functions have been determined up to the limiting distance. The interstellar reddening in this direction is caused by one absorbing cloud lying at a distance of about 1400 pc. The density functions for the main sequence stars of given intervals in absolute magnitude as well as for the late-type giants are all monotonously decreasing, except perhaps for the nearer distance intervals.
The density functions for the main sequence stars 0 < M(V) < 2 and for the late-type giants extend to almost 6 kpc; both coincide in gradients, as it has been found for other anticentre fields. With few exceptions the density function gradients of different groups extrapolated to zero distance conform nearly to the space density as accepted for the solar neighbourhood.
The luminosity functions for the distance intervals from 0.4-0.8 kpc and from 0.8-1.2 kpc have the same slope as that for the solar neighbourhood.
