This paper presents theoretical studies of the emission of electrostatic bursts along with the whistler wave observed recently in the Jovian magnetosphere. It is shown that these electrostatic bursts are the cause of a high frequency plasma instability which may occur because of a mode-mode coupling effect in plasma turbulence. The theoretical results are consistent with observations in space.
