Using a Monte Carlo approach, we investigate theoretical uncertainties in stellar evolution models at the tip of the red giant brach. Specifically, we determine uncertainties in the luminosity and helium core mass at the tip of the red giant branch for metallicities [Fe/H] = -2.0, -1.5, and -1.0. Our Monte Carlo simulation takes into account uncertainties in helium composition, heavy element composition, radiative opacities, conductive opacities, nuclear reaction rates, surface boundary conditions, neutrino energy losses, diffusion, convection, and color transformations.
