The nutational effects induced by a companion star on the emitting regions of SS433 are analysed within the framework of the ring model. Analytic expressions are derived for the variations of the shifted lines due to the nutation of the disk; the amplitudes and periodicities of these variations are given. Constraints on the inclination angles and masses of the system are derived. These results are compared and contrasted with those of the "twin jet" model.
