We discuss within our theoretical ``fireshell'' model for Gamma-Ray Bursts (GRBs) the theoretical interpretation of the phenomenological correlation between the isotropic-equivalent radiated energy of the prompt emission Eiso and the cosmological rest-frame νFν spectrum peak energy Ep observed by Amati and collaborators. Possible reasons for some of the outliers of this relation are given.
