Several grids of model atmospheres appropriate to blue horizontal-branch stars are computed with log g between 2.5 and 5.5. B-V color indices and bolometric corrections are calculated from detailed flux distributions in order to obtain a homogeneous set of relations for different chemical compositions. The dependence of B-V color index and bolometric correction on chemical composition, effective temperature, and surface gravity is derived. The derived relations are applied to theoretical zero-age horizontal branches and compared with observational data on globular clusters.
