Results of measurements of prevailing wind components made in 1984 by the D1 and D2 methods are presented. The time variability of the wind components with respect to these stations in the main seasons is considered. Dates of the beginning and end, and the duration of spring transformations of the circulation regime are compared. The time variability of the wind regime in the lower thermosphere in winter is analyzed in detail. A close correlation between the time variation of the circulation regime of the M-zone and the processes in the mesosphere and stratosphere in the cold half of the year is shown.
