A sample of nearly 400 stars, selected from the Tycho-2 catalogue, has been observed towards the North Galactic Pole with the high resolution echelle spectrograph ELODIE. Combining those data with a local sample from the Hipparcos catalog, a detailed study of the disk components is done. A dynamical analysis is also performed, enabling us to put new constraints on the local mass density.
