Using a new hybrid code, we are able to perform detailed numerical simulations which span nearly the entire sequence of planet formation---from the appearance of the first protoplanets in a young gas disk, to long after the disk's dispersal. I will present some of the results we have obtained so far, which are already giving us a number of new insights into the planet formation process. Among other things, these simulations are providing clues as to how our own Solar System fits into the ensemble of planets discovered to date. This work is supported by the NSF (AST-0507727) and by the Spitzer Theoretical Research Program (Cycle-4, pid#40380).
