The Hubble New Generation Spectral Library (HNGSL) provides a unique opportunity to explore evolutionary population synthesis models in the UV. The library contains spectra for a few hundred stars with fundamental parameters known from analysis of the visual spectrum. The spectra cover fully the wavelength range from 1700Å to 10,200Å with spectral resolution close to 5Å providing excellent coverage of the near-UV and the range from 9000Å to 10,200Å. In this paper we explore the dependence of the UV flux emitted by Globular Cluster size stellar populations using the traditional evolutionary synthesis algorithms and also taking into account stochastic fluctuations in the number of stars present in different evolutionary phases. The model predictions are compared to existing UV observations of Globular Clusters.
