The Precision Measuring Machine (PMM) at the US Naval Observatory in Flagstaff (USNOFS) AZ has digitized the major photographic surveys covering the whole sky. The image pixels and the catalogues generated from these plates are now available through the USNOFS web site (http://www.nofs.navy.mil/data/fchpix/). The service provides object detection lists, charts plotted from those lists, and the raw image data for any region of sky. Catalogues that are currently served include USNO-A2.0, and ACT. Image data in multiple colors, covering a variety of epochs, from the following surveys are available: POSS-I, POSS-II, SRC-J, ESO-R, SERC-EJ, SERC-ER, AAO-R, AAO-N, AAO-shortR, and the PIMWA. Almost 10,000 schmidt plates are accessible electronically from the USNO archive.
