It is shown that a careful analysis of the Hubble sphere (and related horizon of the observable universe), at an "early stage" when this sphere could have been the site of a quantization and unification of various available interactions, brings macroscopic and microscopic together. The horizon thus becomes the site of an emission of scale invariant entities, and of fractalian patterns whose unfolding could be related to the cosmological dilation and the universal ascent of complexity and organization. In the microscopic regime, these patterns impose the scale of the Planck length, in the macroscopic regime, that of the Hubble length; they also bring confinement and containment together. In this context, where macroscopic and microscopic meet, where classical and quantum can be assumed to act jointly, the cosmological dilation can also be related to the triggering of a time-flow via imbalance particle-antiparticle, turning the Hubble sphere into an origin on the time-arrow. These results could shed light on the problem of ultimate entities, on the bootstrap and on the containment riddle: "Where in a universe could lie the mind of the cosmologist conceiving it?".
