The UK Astrobiology Forum was set up in 1998 to provide a means of promoting astrobiology in the UK in the research community, funding agencies, media, and general public. It also facilitates cooperation between UK researchers, especially between those in different disciplines. Finally, it supplies a link to the funding agencies, and aid astrobiology contacts between funding agencies, and also provides a formal UK link for international contacts.
