We announce the completion of the southern hemisphere extension of the u'g'r'i'z' photometric standard star network. This network is the basis of the photometric system used in the Sloan Digital Sky Survey, and is planned for use in the Dark Energy Survey. We present a summary of, and location (URL) for, the full results. We will present a comparison of the combined northern and southern systems showing the seamless interface at the equator. We present plans for spectroscopy-based enhancement of the system.
Observation time for this project was awarded as part of the NOAO Surveys Programs. This material is based upon work supported by the National Science Foundation under Grant No. 0098410. J.A.S. and J.L.S. acknowledge support from the Los Alamos National Laboratory under project LDRD-20030486DR.
