The BeppoSAX Wide Field Cameras (WFC) have been monitoring the X-ray sky for over 4 years now with a field of view covering 7% of the whole sky at a sensitivity of about 40 mCrab per hour of observation. Its capabilities make it a particularly efficient detector of X-ray transients that last between seconds and hours. WFC harvested more than 50 cosmological gamma-ray bursts, more than 2000 X-ray bursts from Galactic neutron stars, about 25 flares from probably nearby late-type stars, and about 10 faint X-ray binary transients. We highlight results obtained with the WFC.
