The telescope auto-tracking and guiding method for the full solar disk vector magnetograph telescope is introduced in this paper. The method offers a tape encoder for the location detection device and calculates the real-time topocentric position of the sun, which constitutes a high-precision closed-loop tracking system. It also offers a CCD guiding system, enhancing tracking system prolonged accuracy. Finally, from the analysis of experimental data, it is concluded that the tracking and guiding system fully meet anticipative indicators.
