The spatial structure and the plasma velocity vector in arch H-alpha emission systems of the active region near the limb of SD 249 (October 17, 1988) are studied. H-alpha filters are used which were obtained on a large coronagraph using a tunable H-alpha filter with a 0.025 nm passband moving along the H-alpha profile. It is shown that matter in the arches starts to move from one base (N or S polarity) to another (S or N polarity).
