After a review of the mathematical foundations of the three-body problem, computer-generated trajectories of the bodies are presented and explained. It is shown how the third body eventually escapes from the other two bodies. A modified example of the three-body problem is treated in which the earth, the moon, their common center of mass, and a Lagrangian triangulation point are the parameters considered. The utility of the computer displays in teaching is demonstrated.
