The field corrector developed for the T 60 instrument at the Pic-du-Midi Observatory is described. It is noted that, associated with the very large relative aperture of the primary mirror (F/D: 3.5), aberrations (especially the coma) greatly limit the field that can be used in certain applications, e.g., deep-sky photography. The field corrector described here has been designed to overcome this difficulty.
