Electrographic observations of the central light distribution in the globular cluster M15 are presented. The observations and reduction techniques are described, and the errors in the photometry discussed. The error analysis includes a method for measuring the sampling errors inherent in globular-cluster surface photometry. The electrographic data are combined with existing photometry and star counts to produce a composite surface-brightness profile that extends over 5.5 decades in intensity. Single-mass-class modified isothermal models are incapable of representing these observations. Finally, it is demonstrated that M15 displays a significant central light excess when compared with other clusters of similar overall structure.
