Scientific paper

Recent results of investigations on the orbits of the sungrazing comet
group are presented. Some remarks are made about the less certain
members of the group. The problem of the selection effects connected
with this group is considered. The hypothesis of the origin of comets by
Marsden, Kresak and Sekanina are discussed.
