This laboratory study seeks to define Laser Induced Breakdown
Spectroscopy (LIBS) capabilities for planetary surface analysis by
demonstrating the suitability of in-situ LIBS for determining the
compositions of extraterrestrial samples by comparative elemental
analyses of meteorite samples.
