We present the evidence of the large and sudden mass outflow from the primary star of VV Cep system. We are discussing the medium mass model for this system and propose that the VV Cep's primary is not a M supergiant but a massive AGB star. The timescale of the outflow is about 20 years and during the last 100 years there was no evidence of such a large mass loss event.
