A study of the structure of the quasar 3C 345 was conducted at 49 cm using the global VLBI network. Compact components are distributed mainly along the jet; a counterjet region is also observed. The maximum brightness temperature of the compact regions is Tb less than 10 to the 12th K, and it is suggested that the curvature of the jet is probably due to the rotation of the nucleus, whose angular velocity is increasing.
