The structure of the quasar 3C 345 is studied at 49 cm. The apparent size of the core and low frequency variability is determined by transparency of the surrounding ionized medium and electron density distribution. The dependence of the size and brightness temperature of the components on the distance is determined. Relativistic plasma is ejected in a cone with an opening angle of about 40 deg along a direction with a position angle of -110 deg. The jet consists of thin twisted filaments.
