Radio occultation using 136-MHz geostationary-satellite signals was used
to study the spectral characteristics of artificial ionospheric
irregularities excited by the low-latitude Gissar heating facility in
Dushanbe. It is shown that the spectra of the signal amplitude
fluctuations are close to power type.
