The results are presented of the analysis of the spectrum of a bright Perseid meteor which appeared at 1991 August 12d 23h 47m. Lines due to Na I, Mg I, Mg II, Ca I, Ca II, Si II and Fe I were positively identified. The process of identification of the spectral lines is described. Some problems associated with meteor spectrography are discussed.
