Orbital elements are found for the late B-type spectrographic binary HD
16219. Assuming synchronous rotation and adopting a value of 35 km
s-1 for the projected equatorial rotational velocity, a
physical model of the system is developed. The system is detached and
unevolved, and no eclipses can occur.
