The spatial structure of M12 is examined with respect to different star magnitude intervals and the limiting star magnitude B down to which the star counts are made. The study was performed on the basis of astrometric and photometic measurements of two plates obtained with the 2-m reflecting telescope at Rozhen observatory in Bulgaria. It is shown that the radii of the cluster zones described by Kholopov increase systematicaly with B, following the same law below the transition region between the subgiant branch and the main-sequence turnooff.
