The authors apply the space distribution and filtering analysis to the photospheric magnetic field, the photospheric velocity field and the chromospheric velocity field of the same quiet region observed on Sep. 7, 1988. The distribution of different space sizes of magnetic and velocity field structures and the relationship between them are discussed. It shows that there is a difference between characteristic sizes of different layers; the flow of chromosphere matters and the magnetic networks of the photosphere are coincident; in both photosphere and chromosphere exist flow structures on a larger scale than supergranules but with smaller speeds.
