The transport of thermal radiation within a finite slab which absorbs and scatters anisotropically is considered for the case of a space-dependent single-scattering albedo. Analytic formulas for the forward and backward radiation intensities and fluxes are presented using each of two expressions approximating the albedo. Integral Fourier transforms are employed to solve the linear transport equation.
