Results are presented for observations of the total solar eclipse of June 30, 1973. The observations were made from a point in the Sudan at 9 deg 44 min N, 24 deg 19 min E. Moments of contacts in the band of totality are determined. The structure of the corona is described, and coronal isophotes in red, yellow, and blue light are given. The brightness decrease is determined together with the flattening of the corona.
