We have mapped in neutral hydrogen (HI) two regions at the northern tip of the Magellanic Stream, known as MS V and MS VI, using the Arecibo telescope. To investigate the small-scale structure of this star-free intergalactic medium we derived the HI spatial power spectrum of the intensity fluctuations. The slope of the power spectrum appears to vary with the thickness of velocity slices, in agreement with predictions by Lazarian & Pogosyan (2000). A remarkably steep index is found for the 3-D density spectrum of -4.5, while the 3-D velocity index appears surprisingly shallow, being equal to -1.6.
