The results of high-dispersion CCD spectral observations of the B Lyrae binary system in the region of the Si II 6347 line are presented. The mass ratio and the mass of the bright and secondary components are derived, confirming the earlier identification of the secondary component lines made by Skulskii (1975). The synthetic spectra of B Lyr are calculated in four spectral ranges in order to verify the reliability of the observational data.
