The photoelectric B, V photometry of the BL Lac type object Mkn 501 has
been carried out for searching a short-time light variability. Power
spectrum analysis has revealed two periodicities in light variations of
Mkn 501, with periods P1 ≅ 30 min and P2
≅ 83 min and amplitudes Δm ≡ 0m.02.
