Methods and results of the search for optical flashes from gamma-ray
burst sources are described. No new objects were found at the
sensitivity level of 5-7m for flashes with a duration of more than one
second. This yields an upper limit of 0.00065/h sr for such events at
the 95 percent confidence level.
