Interactions between the clustering of neutrinos of nonzero rest mass and matter are considered for the Jeans clustering stage of cosmology. In contrast to clustering in the Jeans-instability stage of the early universe in the case of zero neutrino rest mass, consideration of the interaction between the matter and radiation component on the one hand and the neutrino component taken as a collisionless self-gravitating gas obeying the Vlasov equation on the other indicates that in this case the Jeans instability may occur before the recombination time, with a mass range of clustering limited to the order of that of clusters of galaxies. Results thus strengthen the big bang theory as regards the gravitational origin of clusters of galaxies.
