It is important to understand the nature of quasars from their multi-wave information. Based on an ideal sample of optically selected quasars provided by the LBQS, the authors carried out an identification with the latest whole-sky surface catalog of 4.85 GHz radio sources. As a result, 34 quasars were found to have radio counterparts and proved to be radio-loud quasars. The authors studied the relation between their radio and optical luminosities and found a nearly linear correlation.
