Solar Radio Bursts: Quasi-Periodic Oscillations, Solar Microwave Bursts: Periods

Scientific paper

The authors have observed and recorded the great microwave burst of 1989
April 9 at 2840 MHz with a time resolution of 2 seconds. The
quasi-periodic oscillations exhibited periods of about several tens to
several hundreds of seconds and might be associated with quasi-periodic
magnetic loops or magnetohydrodynamic phenomena.
