The authors have obtained proper motions and spectra of the Herbig-Haro objects RNO 40 and 43. The proper-motion vectors point away from far-infrared sources. The authors have used the spectra to infer shock velocities. These shock velocities agree with the tangential motion in the case of RNO 40, but are smaller than the tangential motion in the case of RNO 43. RNO 43 appears to be associated with an entire family of co-moving knots.
