On the basis of 8.4 GHz VLBI observations of OQ 208 made at 9 epochs
from 1994 to 2005, we fitted a proper motion of 0.031 ± 0.006 mas
yr-1 between the two mini-lobes (components A and E). This
indicates a real speed of 0.072 ± 0.014 h-1c and a
kinematic age of 219 ± 42 yr for the radio source.
