The solution of the propagation equation of galactic cosmic rays obtained by Huang (1983) is employed to analyze HEAO-3 C-2 data. The escape path length distribution parameters, residence time, and the lifetime of high-energy particles are calculated. The age of the cosmic rays is calculated from the decay of Mn-54. The dependence of the residence time on the interstellar density is determined for three selected energies.
