Observations of meteor phenomena in recent years by photographic and radar techniques have yielded an abundance of data relevant to a number of astronomical, geophysical, and technological problems. A successful optical observation of a meteor consists of two photographs of the same meteor taken by cameras separated by 20 km or more. A network of camera stations large enough to observe bright meteors in abundance was established in the Midwest. This report outlines the setup and operation of this network.
