Planet formation models predict that significant numbers of ice
dominated Super-Earths should form beyond the snow line, and that some
fraction of these will then migrate or scatter inwards to highly
irradiated orbits. We examine the potential for extreme mass loss on
such planets due to XUV absorption and tidal heating.
