Explicit expressions are derived for the photon single-flight escape probability associated with the Voigt spectral line profile, in media specified by a given temperature, and for scattering described by complete frequency redistribution. The expressions, based on equivalent width representations given by previous authors, are evaluated and compared with evaluations obtained by direct integration of the defining expression. A partial tabulation and plots of the escape probability are provided.
