The inverse problem for the interpretation of the optical light curves of the X-ray binary system SK 160 = SMC X-1 has been solved in the framework of the model of a close binary system with an accretion disk surrounding the compact object. The amplitude of optical variations can be explained with μ < 1, if one takes into account the radiation of the accretion disk with radius ≡0.7 - 1.0 of the compact object's Roche lobe radius and with the luminosity in the V filter ≡0.1 of the optical star's luminosity. The obtained parameters of the system SMC X-1 are: i = 64°.5±4°.5, q = MX/Mopt = 0.085±0.035, MX/M_sun; = 1.41±0.49, Mopt/M_sun; = 16.7±1.8, the parameter of the Roche lobe filling μ = 0.97±0.03.
