The operating situations of six Cs clocks (Cs07, Cs08, Cs11, Cs16, Cs17, Cs18) used for time keeping in the National Time Service Center (NTSC) are introduced. These six Cs clocks began to contribute to the computation of TAI in the late 1997. During the past five years, five clocks have been operating normally and continuously except the Cs18 which was returned to The United States in 1999 for being repaired. In this paper, the summarized characteristics, clock stabilities with different sample times, situations of rate drifts and clock weights in TAI computation are introduced and analyzed in detail for each individual clock. It is hoped to make good use of the Cs clock resources and improve the time keeping work through overall analysis and evaluation of operating situations for each clock.
