In the course of an analysis of power spectra of the 1979 solar differential observations reported by Bos (1982) for the evidence of intermediate-degree f-mode multiplets, a set of 19 intermediate-degree f-mode multiplets, with frequencies ranging from 450 to 6540 microhertz, was identified and classified. The angular degree of these multiplets ranged from 18 to 36. The m = 0 eigenfrequency spectrum, measured with an accuracy of about 0.01-0.12 microhertz, was found to be on the average about 10 microhertz greater than that predicted by a recent theoretical solar model. The rotational splitting effects were obtained up to the 5th order in m and were found to be consistent with the internal rotation curves obtained by Hill et al. (1986).
