The author choses 203 simple bipolar magnetic regions in order to study the tilts of the magnetic polarity axis in active regions, and the effect on the tilt by some quantities such as latitude, polarity separation, total flux and relationship of these quantities. The data set of photospheric vector magnetograms observed from 1988 to 1996 at Huairou Solar Observing Station of Beijing Astronomical Observatory were employed.
